New Luvs Super Absorbent Leakguard Diapers at Walmart #TheClueIsInTheBlue

This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/Luvs

My youngest child is 6 years old, so it's been a while since I've had to change or buy diapers. In fact I hadn't had to change a diaper in YEARS until two weeks ago when we sweet little niece was born, Kennedy. Here she is! Isn't see adorable. She's a super sweet little baby. Of course I'm a little biased.
All my kids are fighting over who gets to hold her. It's been neat to see how much they love her. I didn't know how they would react, but so far they've been gentle and it's gone well.

So, now that my niece is here I am changing diapers again and I must say they've changed and improved a lot, especially Luvs.

Luvs have gotten better with their new Super Absorbent Leakguard diapers. The new leakguards are 15% more absorbent than other Luvs. They have a contoured shape with leak barrier leg gathers, for a snug, comfortable fit. And with an ultra absorbent leakguard core that helps lock wetness away from baby’s skin, they absorb even more. The blue seal on the Super Absorbent Leakguard boxes represent that they are a special version of Luvs, exclusively found at Walmart.

Some of my sister's friends gave her a huge box of these diapers and I found out that they only come in a super pack. Super packs come with 92 to 124 diapers, depending on the size you choose. They are available in sizes NB, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6! One box is a little less than $20.

To stay up to date on all things "Luvs" make sure you follow them on Facebook & Twitter

Why Kids Need An Annual Eye Exam

Why Kids Need An Annual Eye Exam

As you get your children ready to go back to school, don’t forget that getting them an annual comprehensive eye exam. I say this, because I learned the hard way. My daughter was diagnosed by an optometrist in 2010 with Vernal Conjunctivitis, this was after taking her to 8 doctors. If I had been getting her annual eye exams we would have caught this way sooner. We were really lucky that her vision was able to fully recover. She sees a pediatric ophthalmologist every few months now and insurance, thankfully, covers all her visits.

Annual eye exams are important for everyone in your family. They allow eye doctors to detect early signs of health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, among others.

1. Parents should take their children to the eye doctor for a comprehensive eye exam starting as young as six months old, then again at three years old, before kindergarten and every year after that.

2. In-school screenings do not provide the same level of detection as comprehensive eye exams.

3. 80% of what we learn is through our eyes, making an eye exam essential for your back-to-school “to do” list.

4. Common signs of vision problems include squinting, head tilting, avoiding “close work,” trouble focusing, continuous rubbing of eyes, excessive blinking, and headaches. Learn more.

5. 1 in 4 children has an undetected vision condition that can negatively impact learning.
