Megan and Liz #MeganandLizOnTour

Megan and Liz
Megan and Liz a twin sister singing group is going around the country performing at Macy's. We went and saw them at the Macy's in Portland and they sang 3 original songs and then stuck around for autographs and pictures with fans.

They sang great and were kid friendly. Now days it's hard to let your kids listen to anything but they were pc when they spoke and their songs were clean.

Introducing the Share Your Best Linkup

Do you have a post that your particularly proud of? Each month Mommy Travels and Two Kids and a Map will be hosting the Share Your Best link up. You link up once and show up on both blogs.

Your challenge is to pick out your best post of the month and share it with us. It does not matter what the topic is. Two Kids and a Map and Mommy Travels are both family travel blogs, but we also write about many other things. Some of the posts I'm the most proud of have nothing to do with family travel.

Since this is the first month I would like to share some of my favorite posts.

Enchanted Tales with Belle at Disney World from this past June and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney World from 2009 are two of my most favorite posts. Both posts have to do with Disney World and both were awesome experiences we had with one of our kids. Watching my little guy dance with Belle and having my daughter turned into a princess for her 5th birthday are memorable moments I'll never forget. They are not even close to being popular articles on my blog, but I could look at those pictures all day.

I can't wait to read everyone's Best Posts for September in our first Share Your Best linkup.

FREE Online Chore Chart for Kids

I love anything that will get my kids to clean up. This one's burning up the internet and you'll see why. So, far it's working well for me, but I wonder if the kids will lose interest. I hope it doesn't! I must say them being able to earn a reward from Amazon is quite the motivator.

This is a FREE online chore chart that motivates your kids and earns them rewards that they can save, donate to charity, or spend on toys.

Motivating Your Kids Is Easy: Just 1-2-3:

Broccoli, rice, cheese casserole

Broccoli, cheese, rice casserole is one of my favorite things to make for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter dinner. It's usually the first thing to go at dinners. I never seem to make enough.

Broccoli, Cheese, Rice Casserole

1/2 cup rice
10 oz package frozen broccoli, chopped
1/2 cup margarine/butter
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 ounces of processed cheese
1 cup shredded co-jack cheese

Cook the rice and broccoli according to the directions. After cooking, drain the broccoli on a paper towel. In a large sauce pan melt the butter and sauté the onion and celery. Add rice, broccoli, soup, and processed cheese to the onion and celery. Cook until the processed cheese is melted. Pour into a casserole dish that's been sprayed with non stick spray. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top and bake at 325 degrees until it's bubbly.
