Lucy's Cantina in NYC was awesome

Leave it to us to almost immediately find wonderful Mexican food at a super cute restaurant called Lucy's Cantina Royale across the street for The New Yorker Hotel.

If you've read much of my blog you know I am absolutely passionate about Mexican food and this place did not disappoint.  It was delicious!  I had the tacos, my sister had the salad and my mom had the nachos.  All of us loved it and we will definately be back some day!

Book Review:The Cheese Monkeys

The Cheese Monkeys: A Novel In Two Semesters (P.S.) A Novel in Two Semesters by Chip Kidd

I thought I would be giving The Cheese Monkey's five stars. The first two thirds of this book were fun to read, clever and interesting. It was so funny I was laughing out loud on an airplane.

However, when this book begins to go downhill it really spirals out of control. A weird funny book goes to weird and sick. Really sick. I hated every character by the end of this book. The ending is worthless. I would not recommend this book to anyone.

Wicked on broadway in NYC

We only had time for one Broadway show so we put a lot of thought into which one to pick. I'm thrilled we saw Wicked. It is the best play I have ever seen. It was witty and quick. There was never a dull moment.

This play is about the wicked witch before Dorthy threw water on her in the land of Oz.
