10 ways to Save TONS Money in New York City

Once I realized I was going to NYC with my mom and sister I started looking for deals.  I've been there before and it is expensive!  Here is a list of every deal website for NYC I could find.

Restaurant.com - use area code 10001 to find restaurants in the Manhattan area.  I recommend L'Ybane (Mediterranean cuisine) and AJ Maxwell's.  Once you sign up with them they will email you coupon codes to use.  I usually only pay $1, $2 or $3 for a $25 gift certificate.

Groupon - Everyday is a new deal.  They offer deals on a little bit of everything.

LivingSocial  - Choose NYC Midtown and they'll have all kids of deals: food, shows, spas, tours, and more.  There is a new one available everyday.

Buy With Me - this is a great website for getting discounted shows, tours, restaurants and more.

Scout Mob - they too also have a variety of deals, but some of theirs are completely FREE.  They also text your coupon to your phone.

Zozi - this one has all kinds of stuff including some really nice side trips like snow shoeing, hotels, dancing and more.

EverSave - mostly savings on products which comes in handy if you plan to do some shopping!

Social Steals - deals on pub crawls, tours, spa, dining and more

and I almost forgot to include CityPass! For just $89.00, CityPASS offers a savings of 46% on 6 must-see New York attractions!

Goldstar also offers discounted tickets in NYC.

We finally made it to NYC!

Do not fly into LaGuardia!
I went to New York city last weekend with my mom and sister. We had so much fun after we got past our rough start. My mom and I flew into LaGuardia airport only to find we were at separate terminals. It took me about 30 minutes to get to my mom. My sister was suppose to pick us up but she was driving in and got stuck in the Lincoln tunnel for an hour and forty five minutes! My mom and I got our names on the shuttle list asap when we realized there was no way she was picking us up. It took about 20 minutes but we finally got in the shuttle for our 45 minute ride to the hotel. Here are some pictures I took from
the shuttle.

Remember fly into JFK where you can catch a train into the city.

It's snowing in Vegas every Fri-Sun

I took my kids out in Las Vegas to Town Square to see the snow. All around the Christmas tree they blow out man made snow so it appears to be snowing all around. My three year old had a blast. He is too little to have remembered seeing snow. He was running and trying to catch it. It was so cute.
I believe it's snowing at Town Square Friday-Sunday in the evenings.

You can also play in the nearby playground and see Santa while you are there.
