Isle of Skye - Scotland

The Isle of Skye in Scotland was breath taking. When we went we were living in Vegas and talk about polar opposites. We went from no green, to the greenest place I've ever seen. You can drive north from Portree around the top half taking in all of the scenery. There are signs along the way that explain what you are looking at.

Disney Fantasy Cruise Sailing Away Party

Disney sure knows how to throw a party. Here's a video of the sailing away deck party aboard the Disney Fantasy ship on the inaugural cruise. It last much longer than 3 minutes, but I narrowed it down to some highlights of the party.

Castaway Cay - Disney's Private Island

Did you know that Disney has their own private island in the Bahamas? Only Disney ships stop at Castaway Cay making it uncrowded and private. I got a chance to spend the day here when the Disney Fantasy Cruise ship stopped here.

There are plenty of chairs and hammocks for everyone. You do not have to pay for a chair or umbrella. The Disney Dream cruise ship came by while we were there, but didn't stop. Only one ship a day at Castaway Cay, insuring there's no crowd issues.

 There are multiple kid areas. Two out in the water and a splash pad on land. There could be more, but these were the ones I saw.

 Adults have their own area too. No kids allowed on this side of the island. Don't make my mistake and walk over, it's a long walk. Instead hop on the shuttle.

I don't know about you, but after this trip I think I might be in the market for some Bahamas real estate!
