Washington Park Playground

Washington park is a beautiful large park in downtown Portland that has a handicap accessible playground. It's also home to the Oregon Zoo and the International Rose Test Gardens.

Sandcastle Playground at Regatta Grounds Park in Lincoln City, Oregon

Regatta Park in Lincoln City is a stunning place on Devil’s lake in Lincoln City. Although the wind was awful at the beach, this park was far enough away that it didn’t effect this lake. We couldn’t even get our kite to fly here. The have a small dock that you can fish off of.

We came here because we read about the Sandcastle playground. Sandcastle playground is a massive wooden playground for kids.

It was an excellent playground.

The bathrooms were pretty rough here. They smelled bad and had no doors on the stalls.

Epcot Flower and Garden festival at Disney World

Epcot at Disney World has several festivals throughout the year. My favorite festival they have is the Flower and Garden festival. I hope you enjoy the pictures I took at Epcot during the festival.

Epcot
We just got back from our latest Disney family trip.  It was just a family weekend getaway to this years flower and garden festival at Epcot. I thought it was great. My kids always struggle with going to Epcot. Although they love the front of the park with the rides and Innovations, they hate walking through the countries. For whatever reason during this festival they have set up playgroups. What a difference this made for my kids. Each playground was different and could accommodate several age ranges. My kids enjoyed each playground but they specially the one on the way into the countries. You can't miss it as you enter and head towards Canada there it is! (The pictures above are of this playground.)

There was another in Morocco and Germany.  Then when you left the World showcase out the other side (Mexico side) there was Minnie's butterfly garden.

We went through the garden and popped out in Pixie Hollow.  Pixie Hollow was set up with another playground.

I wish they had Epcot set up like this year round!
