Zip line attached to a tree! - Photo Friday

We went zip lining with our kids while we were in Copan, Honduras.  It was fantastic, but I must say when I saw how they attached the zip lines to trees I was less than thrilled.  We had already gone down 3 or 4 lines before we saw this!  More pictures and read about our zip lining adventure!

Check out the other Friday Photos from today over at Delicious Baby.

Zip lining in Copan, Honduras

Our family, including all three kids ages 10, 7, and 4, had an amazing adventure while in Honduras.  We went on one of the world's greatest zip lines in Copan, Honduras with the Los Sapos Canopy Tour
We zipped down 14 different cables. One of the lines was 1 km long.  This was the first time zip lining for all of us.  Although we were high up, it was not scary.  All three kids did great.  The younger two went tandem each time.  Our oldest went tandem, but also took a few lines by himself once he felt comfortable.

This is me.  I thought it was just too much fun.

To arrange zip lining with Canopy Tours, just ask your hotel about it.  The canopy tour will send a vehicle to pick you up.

Blizzard Beach waterpark

Blizzard beach is one of Disney World's waterparks. I wish I had taken more pictures but this was all I got.

They have a large kid area where they can climb in these floating alligators. The water is very shallow in this area. To each side of this area are slides and up above is a little area with very small slide where little kids can climb and slide.Disney's Blizzard Beach

This is an area for bigger kids. They can challenge themselves to cross on these floating ice pads while hanging on to the rope above. Also in this area was some body slides and a little zip line where they could zip out let go and fall into the water.

Disney's Blizzard Beach This water park was a little to spread out for us. We did a lot of walking to get to the rides. Many of the rides are from the top of the "mountain" and they go straight down. They were to high for our kids to ride them, but they were fun. they also had a family ride that was fun.
